Becky, isn't it frustrating? I put some of the blame on bootleggers. People think that just because the guy on the corner has the movie, it's officially available for home viewing.
And Jessica, I feel your pain about people not understanding that not every movie EVER made is available to obtain. That tv movie (or soap opera) you saw in 1977? Might not be available to buy.
