Hi VRT Members! VRT will have a booth at the upcoming Annual Conference in Anaheim, California, and we are seeking volunteers to staff it. It’s a great opportunity to promote VRT and video librarianship in general.
We need coverage Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00. Two-hour shifts are ideal, but 1-hour shifts are also welcome. We’re hoping to have two volunteers for each hour. If you are attending and can help us out, please let me know what days/times you want and I will add you to the schedule. You can view the current schedule on the VRT wiki at: http://vrt.ala.org/wiki/index.php?title=VRT_Booth_Schedule. The schedule is wide open right now, so now is your chance to get a prime spot! It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
