Hello, I actually made a short clip compilation film that was shown at a nursing conference held at our university. I tried to combine good and bad portrayals as well as tell a story along the way.
I'd be happy to send you a copy if you are interested. I used clips from the following: The English Patient MASH Good Night, Nurse High Anxiety The White Angel Misery The Lost Weekend Angels in America Meet the Parents Carry On Nurse The Young Nurses Candy Strip Nurses Night Call Nurses The Student Nurses Hellcats of the Navy Sister Kenny One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest A Farewell to Arms The Tall Guy Kill Bill, Vol. 1 Wit Nurse Betty Night Nurse Yes, Nurse! No Nurse! This was made before Nurse Jackie started airing, I would include that show too if I were to redo it. There are lots more. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
