While I suppose there are some precious tots out there who enjoy reading The Sun Also Rises or Old Man and the Sea, Hemmingway is not remotely an author that most people would associate with “kids” reading. Therefore, a documentary specifically designed for “kids” about Hemmingway seems to be extremely unlikely. I certainly could find nothing in WorldCat. There seems does, however, to be a fair amount of documentary films out there designed for younger viewers.

I haven't had a problem finding docs or movies for adults but I am not finding many docs or movies for kids regarding the works of Ernest Hemingway or the Civil War that aren't coming through A&E or PBS, or aren't really dated.
