Hi- The Silence of the Quandts has been recommended for an upcoming event. It is about BMW's involvement with the Nazi regime. It is available only on YouTube as far as I can tell. Does anyone know of a DVD vendor of this version?
Also, does anyone have negative experience using a YouTube video for a program? Other than one's own internet connection? Is there a way to contact YouTube to ensure of its availability for a January program? There are some sites where one can download this, but don't know if that would be a viable alternative. It seems that much care was taken to making this available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpQpgd_EeWY Thanks! Debra Debra H. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
