Thanks for the shout out Deg! Methodology hopefully follows an honest analysis, including what do you really need to know, how much time you have to research your question, how likely it is someone will respond honestly to the questions (and via the methodology), how big is the population, how skilled are you at the methods you are considering, and I always ask - what will I do differently with the answers if I get them. All of these questions can be complicated with students! I'd be happy to share how we went about learning about students' needs - just drop me a line. Elisabeth
