Since Debian seems to be a very long freeze state, I've decided to setup a PPA on Ubuntu to make a binary of the 1.4 release available.
For Ubuntu users (on the latest release [Raring]) simply issue these commands in a terminal: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rw-norris/viking sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade Potentially on Debian you might be able to download the appropriate .deb file and use dpkg to install it directly. http://launchpad.net/~rw-norris/+archive/viking/+packages I suspect I may make incremental releases of the PPA, such as adding the new default layers functionality. Also plan to have an equivalent incremental release on the Windows build too. Be Seeing You - Rob.
