Hi all,
Found the same problem. In vim after inserting a environment using F5
the text
turns white. Latex-suite didnt even work at all in gvim for me. Oh
well maybe
once I have some spare time I can try and help getting it to work in vim 7.
If anyone find solutions please remember to post them.

Could it be because of the colorscheme? Try switching to a
different colorscheme and see if the problem persists.
The problem persists both with another colorscheme (tried peachpuf,
ps_color and without any) and with svn from an hour ago.
As a sidenote, I found that if you select "test colors" in gvim's
"Syntax" menu, your colors return to normal.
