     I think that Bram insists on the "im".  We recently adopted Douglas
Stebila's version of the icon for Vim.app, which includes it.  Since
Matthew Webb says that he based his on this one, it might be possible
to "merge" the two icons.

     If you start a petition, you *might* convince Bram to stop
insisting on the "im" or get Matthew or Douglas to come up with a new
icon.  You can also follow the instructions on the page you quoted to
install the icon in your own copy.
