Under I have made a list of PHP wikis found by searchinf
www.freshmeat.net and www.sf.net. Some requires MySQL, some don't
have login, some do. MySQL looks to be also available for
vim.org. I have skipped all projects that seemed dead (no
updates last 3-4 years)

MediaWiki is the know wiki behind wikipedia. But in the FAQ it
is noted that it is designed to be an open wiki, so I don't
know if one can easily add login requirements.

I think that login should be required to avoid spam/vandalisme. It is
also very important to log the history changes. That way one
can easily recover a page that was destroyed.
