Also, Dr. Charles "Chip" Campbell maintains quite a number of Vim scripts on his personal site, at http://mysite.verizon.net/astronaut/vim -- Some of these scripts, but by no means all of them, are now distributed as "official" plugins together with Vim; others, or sometimes the same ones, are also uploaded at vim.org.
