I successfully installed vim-gtk3.
My system is ubuntu-14.04 and gtk lib is:
$ pkg-config --modversion gtk+-3.0
3.10.8
I have a rendering(refresh?) problem with vim-gtk2.
So that, I tried vim-gtk3 with a hope.
Unfortunely, vim-gtk3 is worse than vim-gtk2. :-(
For example, I cannot read vim's src/auto/config.log. Though I
typed <C-L> several times, so many characters are not shown.
With a vim-gtk2, normally <C-L> fixes the problem when some
characters are not shown or when GVIM's screen is corrupted.
Please note that this problem should(may) not your fault.
I saw this problem already with vim-gtk2. vim-gtk3 is just worse.
And it only occurs on the "vmware workstation (12.x) + ubuntu-14.04".
I have no such problem on "virtualbox (4.x.x/5.0.x) + ubuntu-14.04".
I don't test this patch on virtualbox yet, will try later.
