Well, while developing the channel and job code we could still make changes, so not promise plugin writers that the functionality would be backwards compatible. Considering that no changes were made in the past few weeks, perhaps we should call it "supported" now. This has a bit of a chicken-egg problem: Once we say these features are supported, more people will start using them and then run into things that might need to be changed. Anyway, if there are still things that can be improved, now is a good time to speak up!
