Personally, I use my pinky to hold down any given key, and usually my pinky and ring finger if I need to hold down two. If you need to hold down three, which luckily doesn't happen very often, then it's probably going to take two hands. But anything anyone says here is going to be, ultimately, a suggestion. I can't offer any evidence that says "pinky is best!" except that it seems to work for me :). You're probably best off trying things out and seeing what works for you.
