how to map and independently

as title.
if you map <tab>, e.g: :map <tab> >>, and ctrl-i will change to make a
indent, too, but if you map <c-i> back: :noremap <c-i> <tab>, the
<tab> will roll back again, how can i map <tab> and <c-i>
independently?
