Am I correct in assuming that this problem does not occur if you e.g use the standard English layout? One possibility is if you have customized key bindings in [~]/Library/ KeyBindings/DefaultKeyBinding.dict. If so, try removing them and see if the problem persists. If that doesn't do it then please help me reproduce the problem on my machine so that I can try to debug it.
