As you probably know, MacLinkPlus used to have converters for MacWrite
to later versions of Word.
I converted some a while back but went through two stages to get
something readable in OSX versions of Word.
Also, Appleworks was able to open MacWrite files but the formatting
used to be a bit weird.
A straight jump to Word 12.1 (is it really that many versions? where'd
all the years go?) might be a little hopeful but if you're willing to
persevere it might work out OK.
