No dice.  It just keeps clicking away.  I'll check the voltage on the 
PRAM and see if it's low - that's a cheap fix and would need to be done 
anyway.  What's a good online source for new cheap LC PRAM batteries?

Also, any thoughts on the PSU?  What are the output voltages and pins? 
(I have a lot of PC power supplies in the garage and wouldn't mind 
rigging one to test out the LC.)  And, if I do open it up, are there 
dangers or serviceable parts inside?  I'm pretty handy with a soldering 
iron.
