Could use some insight/advise. I have an LC 575 with 68mb RAM , 1mb VRAM and upgraded the processor to 68040. Have been using a 250mb hard drive with OS 8.1with no problems.
I tried to install a 1gig SCSI hard drive and also tried to install a 8 gig SCSI hard drive but neither one is recognized by the computer. I have booted from the OS 8.1 CD but still the hard drives are not recognized. Both spin and I know the 1 gig was working( I had it formatted and running Apple IIGS system 6.01). Why is the computer not recognizing these hard drives? The one gig looks exactly like the 250 mb hard drive.
