those keyboard cords are just phone handset cords wired in reverse.  
Get a cheap phone handset cord, cut the end off, and either crimp  
another end on (with the wires in the opposite way) or just strip the  
ends you cut and splice the end you removed back on with the wires  
connected backwards.

Fun fact: you can still use that cord on a telephone handset with no  
problems.
