A tech podcast I listen to: (RetroMacCast) answered this question recently. 
They reported using Hydrogen Peroxide in the tooth whitening strength. They 
took the drugstore tooth whitener that is used in the tooth trays and  spread 
it on the case like peanut butter.  They allowed to sit for a day or two, and 
washed it off with water using the Mister Clean Magic Eraser. They say this 
process provided remarkable results! They have a before and after photo on 
their web page.
