Willi,

Just so that you know, there are two versions of the CDW software,
one for the 68000 processor and one for 68000/68020/68030
processors. Apart from supporting the additional processor types,
the 020/030 version also supported multifinder. Neither version is
compatible with 32-bit mode and I do not think that the 020/030
multifinder support extends to System 7... Not to say it won't run
under System 7, it may... I don't recall...

I do have a copy of the 020/030 version. It has been years since I
loaded the disks and they may or may not still be viable (hence my
attempt to backup all my "stuff" discussed in the "Old File Storage"
thread). When i have the time, I can look into scanning the manual
(1/2" thick)... I will probably try to contact the developer
first... Just to cover my rear.

Programming on the Mac is no easy task (at least if you want to
follow Apple's guidelines), and Assembly is doubly hard, but with
some good books (I recommend Dan Weston's) it is doable.

Good luck,

Derek
