Hi all,
I recently picked up an Apple Color OneScanner 600/27 and hooked
it up to my Mac IIfx. I am running System 7.5.5 with 32MB RAM and
have installed the Color OneScanner software (ColorOne Dispatch).
The problem I have is that when I want to scan I always get a message
saying that the software cannot detect a scanner even though Scanner
Driver 4.2 is installed during startup. The scanner shows up under
SCSI Probe so I assume there is no issue with termination. I even
switched to the older scan software (Ofoto) and still the scanner is
not recognized. However when I attach an original Color OneScanner
everything works just fine with either scan software. I would
ordinarily think the issue is with the scanner itself but this is the
second 600/27 model I have owned and I have gotten the exact same
results. Is there some other driver or software I am missing that is
peculiar to the 600/27 scanner? Thanks!
