Papa Bear, 1) There should be a Round Geo Port on the 9600 - have you tried that and set the printer to that port? 2) You could go out and purchase a Serial Port Card 3) Finally if you have USB already you could try a USB/Serial Adapter from Tripp-Lite (formerly KeySpan) USA28 or USA28X USB to Dual Serial Port Adapter.
