If it's not marked, then it's an I, there wasn't an Imagewriter before the IW I. The 9600 has a standard Mac serial port and everything up to OS 9 includes the driver. I think it would work using a USB-serial adapter as long as it's the kind that has a Mac serial port. But the question is, WHY. The IW I is an impact printer, it's low res, it's S L O W.
