I still have my Mac Classic, and I wasn't able to boot off my PowerMac 6100's HDD, so I am looking for new ideas to get it up and running (and possibly online) I have 2 ideas, 1: Use my old LCII's parts (something went wrong and it won't power up) to get my Classic running (will that work?) 2: go completely insane with a Mac Classic staring at me quietly whispering "use me.... use me...."
If I get this running, I need some ideas to use it with... I was thinking email and IRC possibly Since I will be "retiring" my LCII, would it be possible to de-solder the serial ports from it and rewire it to a Mac>Pc serial port adapter? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Vintage Macs group.
