A few months ago, someone on this board posted a link to site where someone
had used pretty much the same formula, but instead of a solution he  made it
in to a gel, that kept him from having to dip the case, paint the gel over
an it stays.

I haven't had time, I'll try it one of these days, here are the links in
case some one wants to try it out.
