My experience with thrift stores seems to be generic pricing. Computers get $199 no matter the shape (I saw only one for $99) game systems get $20 unless they have a cd drive (then they are $30) and a PS2 goes for $90 there. I usually go there to pick up Sega Genesis systems for parts and projects, they are great sized, and amazingly roomy for more than just playing games. I also love thrift stores for their many projectable items, Computer mice are my favorite, easily converted into little R\C cars, prank mice, or even doorstops and other random uses. I have not once seen any Mac stuff at the GoodWills that i have been to, but I do pick up all my Mac stuff at Garage sales, I once got an LCII with a IIe card for a quarter, still runs great, but I don't know what to do with it.
