Hi,

It sounds like the SE/30 does not POST.
Disconnect the internal FDD and HDD, check that Ram is installed and the Rom
Simm is installed as well.
It might help to remove the Ram/Rom modules as a faulty ram module can
prevent it from botting up: remove all the ram modules and just fill the
first bank for start.

Another well known issue are the capacitors on the logic board. If they
haven't been replaced yet: this can be the cause as well.

But first try the steps above.

When there are no logic board issues: it should Post with a blinking FDD
icon, even with nothing connect and no FDD/HDD as well. Try to push the
reset/interrupt as well: this should give a Sad mac with an error code if it
doesn't want to start.

If you get none of this: then the logic board is likely faulty.
