There is nothing about the ASN that would fit a mission critical role. I also have never heard of one being used in such. It is in an interesting footnote in Apple history while they were at their lowest point. It was also a total failure.
That's what makes it interesting to some Apple collectors. Much like the Apple III. It was a bad design that never achieved any commercial success. The lack of sales make them rarer then some Apples. Nobody is collecting Apple III's because they were the greatest machine ever. More because they may have been one of the worst.
