I cannot for the life of me get the Asante MacCon 30si card to connect
to the network on my Mac SE/30.

When I run the Adapter Information it appears to recognise the card as
Mac Con 30si, gives the MAC of the card and driver version 7.3.1 in
Slot 9.

Memory buffer test passes.
Network Interface Controller Test returns 'NIC Transmission Failed'.

I have this plugged into a 10base T Hub (Dynex).

System information is a pretty vanilla install of 7.1 (upgraded from
6.0.5).

The System Information page on the Asante software reads 7.10, machine
type Mac SE30, Memory 8MB, ROM Ver 1.78 and Appletalk 58.0.2.

The lights all light up on the hub and my network and the back of the
card just fine.
I've configured MacTCP to my proper network addess (Manual).
But when I try to switch Appletalk to Ethernet it just gives me the
boot and goes back to Localtalk.

Is there anyone that has any ideas whatsoever about this???
