Small update on screen. I took the display completely apart to get to the those squishy contact strips between the board and the LCD. I clean the board contact and strips. Put it all back together and I get the same thing. Since the screen defects are consistent and not all the way across the screen in most cases I am thinking is VRAM or something along those line.
Interestingly these strips are absence of pixel, yet when computer turns off they invert to black and may stay on teh screen for some time.
