Hi, Mac Portables, especially non-backlit Portables are frequently found on eBay. If you have the black logo case - especially with the original four feet, you can find interested purchasers. If you use a POwerBook 100 series AC power supply, you will get enough power to start it and run it regardless of the battery condition. If it has a working hard drive and more than 1MB RAM, you may have something that could sell for $50-$100 with the case.
Get a Dell Mini 10, hack it and install OS X Snow Leopard. It is an easy project and you will have a Mac Netbook - kind of different. Not a bad deal for under $400.
