I had several batteries rebuilt. They need to be in a charging station if not in use or the old lead acid batteries inside deteriorate. One hour is pretty good running time.
As for the logo on the black case, it is the multi-colored Apple. It has fallen off many a case. Contact me off list, and i will make an offer as I need one. Does your Mac Portable have a working hard drive?
