The mouse connector for the early mice was rock-solid, too, what with two thumbscrews. Of course, a rock-solid connection is normally what you'd want. However, I can just see the kid falling out the drawer, clutching at the mouse/keyboard in an effort to save himself, and pulling a 16-pound (and $2,600) machine down on top of him. (Ow.)
