btw, the little guy tugging the Mac off the desk likely wouldn't be a
problem (for the machine at least); many moons ago I once dropped my
Mac Plus at the top of a flight of 18 stairs!  As you can imagine, I
watched in horror as my 'baby' bounced and tumbled all the way down!
It held together though, apart from a small chip (about a half-inch)
having broken off of the side of the case where the 'seam' meets the
front edge.  I plugged it in, hoping against hope - and sure enough,
the familiar beeeep, followed by a happy Mac icon   (relief!)
