ADB is NOT hot pluggable.

This always kind of frustrated me. ADB has all the features necessary for it, and it even works 99.99999% of the time, but until the Powerbook G3 Wallstreet and above there was risk of blowing things up. If only Apple had had the foresight to electrically protect it, it could have been a nice feature and saved some heartache :)

That said, I've been known to hotswap ADB now and then with no trouble, even with the knowledge it may break things. But don't do it to any particularly special machines :)
