I wonder how does the 5200/5300/6200/6300 compare with a Quadra 630 with a PowerPC upgrade card, considering that "one user studied the design and called it a Quadra 630 with a PowerPC upgrade built in" (from http://lowendmac.com/tech/x200.shtml)?
From a user view that may well seem true. I can't say how much the board design is different. But I do note that the memory capacity of the PPC machines is 64Mb while the Q630 is 36. As to the LEM article, it is dead wrong on several issues so I would put no stock in any of it.
