An LC II isn't the most ideal 68k machine for internetting, but it'll work.
First, you'll want to make sure it's upgraded to the full 10 megs of RAM
it'll take. You'll need it.
You may consider tracking down a copy of RAM Doubler. It's pretty handy
on the memory-crippled machines like the LC II.
Then you'll need an LC PDS Ethernet card, ideally. This will get you
connected into a network and talking.
Software-wise, you'll probably want at least System 7.1, and either Open
Transport or MacTCP. Since it's a 68030, Open Transport ought to run
fine and dandy and is usually a little more stable than MacTCP.
Then it's just a matter of getting some internettable apps. Old versions
of Netscape would run fine, though 4.x might have a little trouble with
the low RAM. It does support virtual memory though, so it ought to run
regardless.
