Tidy up at the end of the day, drop the mouse in its holster and the cleaning
crew doesn't have to bother with moving the mouse to clean the desk top. Time
saving and removes the possibility of damaging the mouse, which back then was
an expensive item and not too likely the IT department had a box of spares.
