I find bad capacitors with an ESR meter and replace the bad ones and any
similar ones.  At this age you might just re-cap the whole board.  Also
check for cracked solder joints wherever cable harnesses connect to it.
I just braid off the old solder and re-do all the joints if any are
cracked.
