This brings up a question i had about my Classic... Can you see the HDD. When 
you boot off the rom?

If it's in completely mint condition with no yellowing, marks, scuffs, 
burn-in, or any other problems it might be worth a little something. 
Exactly what is hard to say since value of old Macs is highly variable. 
Classics are common as dirt so it's not like a Color Classic or 
unmolested 128k. They're more fun for playing old games on or otherwise 
using. Throw System 6 on it, enjoy some Dark Castle and PT-109 and Sim 
City and stuff.
