It isn't too bad if you can find the right bit. I just jammed one into the body 
of an old BIC stick pen and jammed another longer bit in the other end and use 
a standard ratcheting screwdriver and some brute force to get the screws out. 
Replaced them with phillips ones afterwords, and mounted the old ones in some 
bubble wrap and a bag inside the case.

That's a good sign that the caps and such are fine on the board and it's 
simply a loose (or possibly broken) speaker. Should be an easy fix once 
you get the case off (which is the hard part).
