So, I picked up a free Performa 410 (better known as the plain old LC II) from my aunt and uncle yesterday and was messing around with it (I know, the beginning of soooo many bad events). Yesterday it was running fine. Today, the hard drive won't work. I can hear it whirring up for a few seconds when I turn the Performa on, but then it spins down almost immediately.
I have a second HD I pulled from a LaCie Tsunami (bad timing, I know), and it's good, but when I try using it with the Performa, it'll spin up and sound like it's doing something, but my System 7.1 utilities floppy disk won't recognize it.
