I've got 7.0.1, 7.1.1, and 7.2.1p, and none of them will recognize the
drive. When I pulled the drive (both are SCSI Quantum ProDrives, btw)
from its external case, it was a perfectly formatted System 7 disk.

What's weird is, I did two things last night—deleted the old documents
and applications from the original disk in preparation for a clean
7.5.3 install (I did leave the system folder in place), and I dusted
out the inside of the case with a feather duster. Could either of
these have done something to screw up the old drive?
