I like Digi-Key. They are really helpful folks. Both capacitors are rated at 85 deg C max and 2000 hours. the 1199 is 4.7 and the 1198 is 3.3 Both are aluminum electrolytics, the kind that have acid inside. They are also bipolar meaning that they are suitable for AC without a DC bias. Most electrolytics are not built that way and I really don't know about any of those in a Mac. I suspect you can do better. I'm holding in my hand a 220 , 63 volt, 105 deg C capacitor that looks like the picture, Mine is about 1 inch high and about 1/2 inch diameter. I think I came in late. Is this a capacitor from a Mac or is it in the speaker side of a guitar amp? What was the exact part number? Or did it explode as electrolytics can do. dmcnutt at same with capacitor in the subject line. I'm likely to have something you can use.
