The hard drive of the Mac portables is the same as the Conner CP3040A. The only difference is the connector on the PCB. So buy a Conner CP3040A on Ebay or so, swap the PCB and you can read the content of your Mac Portable drive in any SCSI Mac, as long as the original drive is not faulty of course.
