I know the solder-job is an easy one, but the battery was really corroded and I
don't know the damage it caused. I have another
solution.

The IIci used System 6. I have install floppies for 6.0.8, the most logical
choice, and a large cache of apps, INITs/CDEVs and
games for 6.

Do you have an OS and any software you might share for a IIci?  Please reply
either way!  Thanks!

A battery holder is a pretty easy soldering job.
