Chooser won't see them as it only shows AppleShare over AppleTalk.  You have to 
enter the address of the server (IP address or domain name) to access 
AppleShare over IP servers.  Later versions of Pre-X OS had an application 
named "Network Browser" (located in the Apple Menu) that searches for 
AppleShare over IP servers.
