Well a system software disk will help your internal hard drive is dead. That
will need replacement if you want to bring it back to life. It's SCSI.

Subject: Where to get a system 4.1 floppy or similar for Mac SE superdrive

Hi everyone,

I just got the computer of my dreams today, a Mac
SE! :D But it is a bit... weird. Its the superdrive model so it should
have a hard drive as it only has one floppy drive.

But the hard
drive will not show up, it will only boot when a "where in the world is
carmin sandiego" game floppy is in it. The floppy has the game and
somehow has the system installed on it.

So I am not in search of a system 4.1 floppy for it. I think that is the
version it has now.

I don't have another mac that has a floppy drive, so I cannot make a floppy
myself even though I have the image.

So
I need a mac os 4.1 floppy. Or a different version of mac os that can
run with 1mb of ram (i am assuming that how much the SE has as I don't
know right now).
